There are many things that have potential in life. I am the type who sees the hidden potential within. So today I am going to share with you one of my projects that came about when I couldn't resist buying this item.

While rummaging through a good will store I found this lamp. It was plain and missing its shade. I instantly knew I had to buy it and re-create it! So I paid a total of 2.99 for it.

After my purchase I had to think a while about what exactly I wanted to do because I had a few ideas. I went and bought some Tiffany-like blue paint and got to work. Once I had the lamp painted I needed to find a shade to finish it (which ended up costing me $5). I wanted the lamp to brighten a room but still look chic.

And this is what I got...

For less than $10 dollars and a little bit of crafting, I have myself a chic new lamp!
