D.I.Y. Garden Decorations

Whats better than summer plants? Decorated summer plants... duh! These are so sweet and simple. Also, pretty much the cheapest craft ever. I hope you're inspired to create some of your own!

Materials:
Paint Samples
Sticks (craft sticks)
*I used wood scraps my dad cut out.
Hot Glue
Scissors
Lace

Instructions for Successful Crafting:

1. Gather materials. Choose paint samples from a home good store.
2. Set up a craft space (if you don't already have one) and lay out all materials.
3. Pour yourself some wine.
4. Get your camera ready to capture your creativity.
5. Start designing!
6. Once you have your designs cut out use the hot glue gun to attach the sticks.
7. Decorate plant & take pictures!

projects + current crushes

I have a bad habit of starting a project then starting another and another. I am currently in the middle of four crocheting projects. Two blankets, a scarf, and granny squares to be made into another blanket. I also continue to start books on books on books. I NEED to stop doing this. I have a huge list of books I want to read and I continue to buy books for my classroom this fall and then of course start to read them as well. Well hey, at least I'm reading right?? Oh and I'm currently obsessed with notebooks. Check out the one I just bought. Adorable! What are your current projects & crushes?
